Russians build an ice rink by the sea in Kranevo

Construction of an ice rink with real ice has began in Kranevo. It will be the third in the country and is located near the beach in Kranevo, said Mayor of the village, Rumen Nikolov. Will build a second Olympic size pool revealed Nikolov and added: “In the plots has three or four Russian companies working in construction building apartment complexes and homes then, sold or rented to their countrymen.

Russian sports hotel “Aqua Life” held free swimming lessons to 90 children of Balchik Municipality, using coaches who are former world champions in swimming from Russia. Many Russians create business in tourism and tour operators. In Dobrich almost no village is without Russian-speaking settlers, but most are in Kranevo. In the last two years in the village has been gathering a strong Russian-speaking diaspora – 50 families are permanent residents.

Mayor of Balchik Nikolay Angelov said that the Russian speaking region and particularaly the Russians are the biggest investors. In the municipality of Balchik live two thousand Russian-speaking – Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians. “They put their money in real estate, hotels and tourism, which is good for the city because we have 100% occupancy rate” said Angelov. Russian tourists are number 1 in the municipality and therefore municipal officials and mayors attend courses in Russian and English.
